The Daily Mail’s flagship studio show, recorded weekly and pulling in a massive audience of more than 400k per episode. We relaunched the show going from a physical studio, and bringing it in-house as a virtual production with a completely custom 3D set.
With episodes of approximately 30 minutes, we produce a 5 camera pre-composited show, with a vision and audio mix, with ISO feeds for the ability to completely remix the show after production
The first of the shows to be delivered in this virtual production style to the Daily Mail, it was a relaunch of their biggest studio show, which saved thousands of pounds per episode in production costs
With such a small virtual production space, and such a large virtual studio with complex lighting requirements, it was a massive challenge to ensure the quality of the keying and image was to the high standard we set
